A few days ago the German FAZ wrote that organized consultants lost their mastermind status they once were believed (and paid for) to have:
... and that it ain't no positive signal that they waste their powers on merger talks:
... and that they are unable to develop their businesses (strategically) into new areas:
Quite funny to read that, because organized consultants never had the talent to develop other businesses than their own onto higher levels of profit, success, sustainability.
Or do you have (had) the impression any organized consultant on your office floors helped you to make a better job, become more effective (not efficient!), develop brands like Apple, foster business development, not to mention identify new, encharted markets and areas of potential success?
Or did you hear that Telekom, Deutsche Post, Deutsche Bundeswehr, Deutsche Bahn made a better job after spending hundreds of millions for organized consultants?
No? Okay, because that is not what they are coming for. They pitch a tent within your realms to earn money, make you addicted by slashing all your existing and proven successful cultures, means, and vehicles of communication, cooperation, and collabortation, and - by that - manifest their next project, ten times more expensive than the current one.
Organized consultants are like vultures and vampires, they might be nice, but they are hungry. You are their prey. Your company is their prey. And the more bad their own businesses operate, the more hungry they are!
And how should they know better? They studied at the same universities as you did. They do not have the professional experience you have. They never felt the consequences of their own decisions, because they did not grow any (relevant) common sense or intuition based on feedback from the markets. They moved on as fast as they were allowed to. They did not have the time to read a decent book, because they (were) hurried to the next project, the next factory closing, the next goldrush.
You should know better. Use your common sense. Enjoy!
